    PRESS STATEMENT

    CLARIFICATION ON MISLEADING INFORMATION REGARDING THE FORTHCOMING STATE VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, HIS EXCELLENCY, BOLA AHMED TINUBU GCFR, TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

    The Nigerian High Commission wishes to address and clarify misleading information currently circulating on social media concerning the forthcoming State Visit of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, to the United Kingdom.

    While an official state visit is scheduled, the message being widely disseminated, which claims that individuals are being recruited as coordinators and offered paid participation, accommodation, transportation, feeding allowances, and direct access to the President, is entirely false and without foundation.

    The High Commission has no affiliation with, nor has it approved, any such arrangement at any time and unequivocally distances itself from these claims and from any gatherings or initiatives associated with them.

    Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard these messages and to refrain from contacting or engaging with any individuals or groups making such representations.

    Official information regarding the State Visit will be communicated exclusively through the verified and authorised channels of the Nigerian High Commission and other appropriate offices.

    SALE OF 2026 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) AND DIRECT ENTRY (DE) FORMS

    The sale of 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) forms are now available candidates for Europe centres are to visit the Nigeria High Commission in London, United Kingdom to purchase the application forms and complete before subsequent enrolment of the biometrics.

    Each candidate is expected to pay the sum of Fifty dollars ($50) for the form and a literature text book.
